Back at the end of 22’ we passed a proposal granting a $258 monthly budget to pay for a storage unit that stored the KH court and any other physical KH property such as shorts, signs, etc.
Since then the price has a jumped twice. Once in Jan 24 to $350 and again in June 24 to $450.
DBAG has been paying the difference out of pocket since Jan 24 that totals to $2,925.62.
This proposal wishes to do two things:

KH has reimbursed DBAG thus far: $6,450 DBAG’S outstanding balance: $3699.62
(Note: $774 has been requested as of 3/10/25 in accordance to the original proposal)
So the adjusted balance and the amount being requested in this proposal is $2,925.62.

Note: To simplify things, this proposal voids the original proposal from December. Our goal is to make this really simple. This proposal is strictly for continued due diligence, exploration, and networking centered around finding some sort of transaction or partnership for the Ball Hogs.
Context & Purpose of the Stream:
In Spring 2022, Krause House purchased all 25 Fire NFTs representing ownership of the BIG3’s Ball Hogs. Under the Terms of Sale, Fire Tier owners are entitled to 40% of the net sale proceeds from any future sale of the team.
In 2024, the BIG3 announced a home city-based model and began selling expansion teams for $10 million each, with existing teams like the Ball Hogs rumored to be valued at $15 million or more. This represents a potential 12x return on our $500k initial investment.
By securing additional resources, Krause House can remain an active participant in shaping the outcome of this investment.
This proposal requests funding to continue exploring a potential transaction involving Krause House DAO’s potential 40% stake in the BIG3’s Ball Hogs. This stream builds upon previous efforts while refining our approach to ensure it reflects both community feedback and current priorities. By securing additional resources, Krause House can remain proactive in negotiations and investor discussions, free from pre-existing conditions that may limit flexibility or complicate external negotiations.

Over the past two months, we built a strong foundation by researching and working with the BIG3 to create a detailed investor deck and engaging hype video. These materials highlight the Ball Hogs and BIG3's unique investment opportunity, featuring financial data, sports industry valuations, and the league's turnkey ownership model. With these key assets nearing completion, we can then move forward with targeted investor outreach.
For the next two months, we'll focus on three goals. First, we'll expand our investor meetings, tapping into our network of high-net-worth individuals and sports enthusiasts—particularly in Bayesian's hometown of St. Louis, where we've already seen positive interest. Second, we'll partner with the BIG3 to obtain the latest financial and operational data, ensuring we provide investors with current, compelling information. Third, we'll launch a strategic marketing campaign that combines direct meetings with digital outreach to increase visibility. Through these coordinated efforts, we aim to transform our current momentum into concrete investor commitments and advance both the Ball Hogs and the BIG3.

In Spring 2022, Krause House purchased all 25 Fire NFTs representing ownership of the BIG3’s Ball Hogs. As outlined in the Terms of Sale, Section 4: Paragraph 1 states, “Fire Tier Owners will receive 40% of the net sale proceeds generated from future sales of their team.” However, the catch is that this is subject to SEC approval, which to our knowledge the BIG3 has not pursued.
In Summer 2024, the BIG3 announced a shift from its tour-based model to a home city-based model, with plans to expand from 12 to 16 teams starting in the 2025 season. The expansion teams were sold for $10 million each, and it has been reported that the original teams, including the Ball Hogs, may sell for $15 million or more. The valuation of these teams presents an opportunity for Krause House to potentially receive $6 million from a sale — 12x our original investment of $500k.
The financial situation of the BIG3 is a key factor here, as well. The league has faced challenges since the NFT and crypto market crash, and while Krause House has maintained positive relationships with league executives, it is uncertain how long the current team valuations will hold or how long the league itself will last. With talk of transitioning the NFT program into a VIP program, the league may look for ways to renegotiate or reduce the payouts to NFT holders.
On a similar note, Krause House has invested considerable time and resources into the team over the past three summers. Though given the current state of our treasury, the DAO’s ability to provide financial support for the Ball Hogs in 2025 and beyond is uncertain at best.
Taking all of these factors into account — the BIG3’s expansion, rising team valuations, and Krause House’s declining ability to financially support the team — this opportunity could not come at a better time and offers a golden ticket financially for the DAO. It is essential for Krause House to act now while opportunities are available, leveraging our strong relationship with the BIG3 to either secure a sale, a partnership, or continued involvement in the team’s management.
The BIG3 is expanding and team valuations are booming. There is an enormous opportunity at hand for Krause House. We believe it would be financially irresponsible for us not to explore it.

If we do not act now, we risk losing our leverage in discussions with the BIG3. The league could move forward with a sale on their own, leaving us with little to no financial return or potential path to remain involved with the team going forward. By taking a proactive approach, we will be better equipped to protect our investment against the following potential risks:
The Uncertain Future of the BIG3: It’s no secret that the BIG3 has struggled financially in the past. During the 2022 season, the league was even on the verge of potentially shutting down.
Given what we know about how expensive it is to operate the league, it’s reasonable to believe that the BIG3’s future is questionable at best and highly dependent upon new capital coming in from the sales of their teams.
More importantly, there is no way of knowing how long the current wave of team valuations will last or how long the league will be around altogether. As a result, we need to strike while the iron is hot.
The BIG3’s Hesitancy to Honor NFT Contract: While our contract with the league states that we are entitled to 40% of a team sale, we have already been told that the BIG3 is going to try to get out of honoring that agreement.
Given our strong relationship with the league, however, they have said that they will work with us to facilitate a fair share. As such we believe there will be a strong first-mover advantage, and the longer we wait the more likely it is that the league will find a way out of the contract.
The Importance of Us Finding Our Own Buyer: In our conversations with BIG3 executives, it has become increasingly clear that us bringing our own buyer to the league will significantly increase our odds of negotiating a fair share of the final deal price. By finding our own buyer, it also gives us the best opportunity to build a strong relationship with the new ownership and sell them on the value of having Krause House remain involved in the future of the team.
This work stream is critical for Krause House’s future. Through a sale, partnership, or continued management of the Ball Hogs, we have an opportunity to secure significant financial returns, expand our role in sports ownership, and revitalize our community. The only real risk is inaction.

Context
As shared with the LOI Transparency Committee we are pursuing LOIs for minority ownership in two teams, both in top 5 leagues. As with prior LOI conversations, having experienced counsel ready to support transaction structuring is valuable to align seller requirements and pathways for community involved ownership.
As the initial retainer (subsequently amended here) has been exhausted, this budget will allow us to continue to engage Hogan Lovells and other counsel as may be required from time to time to support our acquisition efforts.
Use of Funds
These funds will be used exclusively to pay fees as accrued for legal counsel in respect to prospective transactions. Upon receipt of invoices, they will be shared with the LOI Transparency Committee, and corresponding payment requests will be issued to treasury.
Note: in cases where expenses paid result in a successful transaction, said expenses will be refunded to the treasury from transaction fees where possible.

Flex & I have been thinking a lot about collective ownership through the lens of remixing access, equity, & governance for the past 3 years. We made incredible progress with owners from the NBA, EPL, & dozens of sports/leagues. The vision resonates with owners, fans, & leagues, the challenge has been the structure in how to do it.
The Ball Hogs experiment has been a tremendous success. Krause House acquired effectively 40% of the club at a $1.2m valuation. Since then, the BIG3 recently announced the 4th sale of a team — with estimated valuations around $10m. We’ve watched the core thesis of a fan (Bayesian) going from an outsider to sitting on-the-bench weekly as an assistant coach, due to a human coordination engine called Krause House DAO. Streaming numbers on X are massive, the league is growing rapidly.
We’ve seen the progress Lewk has been able to make with Krause House Capital & also the material challenges faced along the way. Insiders in sports ownership continue to be blown away with how much progress we’ve made but matching capital with opportunities continues to be a challenge.
Flex & I have been off-stream for all of 2024 thinking about what comes next for collective fan ownership. We’ve been kicking around an idea to tackle all of these opportunities & problems with one elegant solution:
We want to build the reserve currency of sports & want to call it House Protocol.
Leagues & owners need a simple structure they’re familiar with, the best option is a trust. But instead of creating one-off trusts with traditional ownership requirements, we believe the opportunity is to build treasury-backed protocol to acquire cultural assets including sports clubs. We think of it like the reserve currency for culture, empowering fans with exclusive access and governance.
We see a future where Krause House DAO is a human coordination layer for sports clubs & House Protocol is a capital coordination layer.
What is this proposal about?
We think both layers are important to make this a reality, but Flex & I need to establish an entity that will require outside funding (that KH cannot afford… nor should it) to build the idea.
As an example, Krause House could benefit from the creation of House Protocol by acquiring the majority position (>51%) of the Ball Hogs from the BIG3 — without using treasury funds. This would protect KH’s minority position + secure governance of the Ball Hogs. If Krause House were successful at generating interest in the Ball Hogs ownership through the protocol, it could use the fees to both acquire ownership & fund fan engagement experiences we’d like to pursue as a collective.
We’d love to aspire to build a world where people like Uncle Jon, Bayesian Baller, & many more can come to Krause House and earn incredible fan experiences across a rapidly growing sports portfolio facilitated by the DeFi mechanisms of House Protocol. 1) Ball Hogs Assistant Coaching, Scouting, & Analytics
In Year 1, Bayesian supported Rick and the players from afar with his advanced analytics and weekly scouting reports.
In Year 2, this analysis proved to be so powerful that Rick and the players invited Bayesian sit on the bench, assist with draft strategy, have a say in our team’s roster construction, and travel with the team for all games.
This was truly an unprecedented amount of access for anyone — let alone one of the team’s NFT owners — and truly made waves towards validating Krause House’s brand and reputation throughout the league.
Now, the Summer 2024 BIG3 campaign is fast approaching and the Ball Hogs will be taking their show on the road once again to some of the biggest cities in the United States!
And similar to last summer, Bayesian is looking forward to being an assistant coach and leading all of the data analytics and basketball strategy initiatives for the Ball Hogs (at Rick’s request).
He will again collaborate directly with Head Coach Rick Barry, Team Captains (Leandro Barbosa, Jodie Meeks, & DaJuan Summers), and the entire team to use advanced stats / video analysis to craft custom scouting reports for the team to use during games and practices.

This summer, not only do we want to produce more exclusive merchandise for our fans and community, but we would also like to outfit our team with the most unique Krause House x Ball Hogs branded performance apparel the BIG3 has ever seen! Our ideas for this include practice gear, gameday warmups, and exclusive team collectives.
It’s more than look good, play good. We want to develop a brand that becomes an iconic staple of the BIG3 and makes players proud to rep the Ball Hogs. We envision that this strategy could be a huge marketing boost for Krause House and the Ball Hogs, as well as, could be scaled and perfected for future clients.

The 2024 BIG3 Season kicks off on June 15th, and the Ball Hogs will be looking to build on last summer’s record-breaking progress!
Since purchasing the team in 2022, Krause House’s operation of the Ball Hogs has proven to be our community’s most significant proof-of-concept towards team ownership and future acquisitions.
In Year 1, the primary focus of our operation was on building community. Led by Uncle Jon, we proved that a DAO is capable of cultivating the most passionate fan base the BIG3 has ever seen by way of the Pig Pen, decentralized media, and merchandising collaboration.
In Year 2, the primary focus of our operation was improving on-court performance. Led by Bayesian Baller, we proved that a DAO is capable of taking the league’s last place team and turning them into an overnight contender by way of data-driven roster construction, game prep, and assistant coaching.
Now in Year 3, Uncle Jon and Bayesian Baller aim to combine their efforts in what is expected to be our team’s most critical and the league’s most highly anticipated season to date.
With the BIG3 exploring new revenue models and team sales, given our strong relationship with league executives and blossoming team performance we could have a unique opportunity to re-sell the Ball Hogs for a profit after this season. Such a move would not only demonstrate our ability to turnaround a franchise’s prospects in a short period of time, but do so while simultaneously earning a return on our initial investment. This would be an enormous stamp of validation for the DAO.

We have partnered with Ball Hogs HC Rick Barry and received approval from the BIG3’s Executive Team to produce a weekly show on behalf of Krause House in which we will interview some of the biggest names from around the BIG3 this summer. We are requesting funds for the necessary equipment to record, produce, and publish this content in a professional manner, as well as, to procure the talent needed to complete and appropriately market this project. Jon has already arranged for the BIG3 to cover transportation of the equipment to/from the various cities each week.

After discussions with Joy and her manager, we have agreed that on weeks in which Uncle Jon will be out on “new dad duty” Krause House will cover her flight and hotel. On weeks that Jon is with the team, Joy will be covering her own travel costs (with the exception of the draft in Vegas.)
Equipment will be used weekly to capture and record the Ball Hogs Show with Coach Rick Barry and to film sideline content to be used across social media and other marketing collateral.
All equipment will be owned by Krause House. Following the completion of the season, the equipment can be sold and the funds returned to the treasury. Or they may be kept under the community’s discretion for future media initiatives.

Krause House Capital to provide support to source, evaluate, and acquire ownership interests in sports teams on a four month basis.
Context
Over the past year, Krause House Capital has been actively sourcing, evaluating and pursuing opportunities with members and capital partners across English and European Football, the NBA, and emerging sports leagues. With multiple active opportunities, the step was taken to establish the required infrastructure to allow Krause House Capital to facilitate SPV investments into these opportunities.
Krause House members who are accredited investors are now able to invest in sports ownership opportunities through Krause House Capital.

1) Re-Energizing The Community w/ Exclusive Original Content
TLDR:
Since January 2022, I’ve been the Host & Executive Producer of Around The Association, the official basketball podcast of Krause House DAO & the first podcast launched by a non-steward under the community's media network.
From Day 1 my intent with Around The Association has been to drive community engagement, demonstrate Krause House's basketball acumen, as well as, break down the barrier to entry into Web3 and get everyday hoops fans interested in DAOs.
In addition to launching Season 3 of Around The Association, my vision for the next several months centers around creating exclusive, original content that promotes other KH products in which the community has invested. The specific product that I would like to support is Krause Picks.
In speaking with Greg, the user base has remained very loyal, highly engaged, and optimistically consistent since its inception, as we continue to award daily prizes despite minimal day-to-day promotion. I think a great community-built and branded product like this deserves its own exclusive, dedicated content that gets pushed out and published across Krause House socials.
The idea would be to produce weekly content -- primarily in the form short-form videos -- that previews and recaps the week’s slate of games, analyzes top performances and league-wide trends, as well as, shouts out the winners and gives recommendations on how to pick certain games. Think about how media companies like ESPN and FanDuel use original shows (like Daily Wager) and personalities (like Shams Charania) to promote their sports betting products. By tying content to an existing product in which the DAO has already invested major time and resources, I believe we can maximize its potential and see some major dividends.
2) Spearheading New Partnerships w/ Prospective Teams & Leagues
TLDR:
Since Day 1 of joining Krause House, I’ve opened up my personal and professional networks to connect our community with a variety of opportunities and prospective partnerships in the sports industry. In the DAO’s early days, this included partnering with the Big Ten Conference to crowdsource basketball content in exchange for KH bounties. More recently, this has included orchestrating connections for Krause House Capital with opportunities in the collegiate sports and international basketball markets. The latter, of which, has particularly heated up lately and in my opinion presents the greatest immediate opportunity to our community.
More specifically, over the past several months I’ve been working closely with a group of investors and former athletes who are actively engaged in the acquisition of a top-tier French basketball club. If the acquisition is successful, it would open up a floodgate of opportunities for Krause House to participate in a Ball Hogs 2.0 style collaboration with the franchise -- ranging everywhere from community building and court refurbishments throughout Europe to basketball operations and front office type contributions to the immediate team.
3) Restoring The Community’s Creative Juices w/ Product Design & Merchandising
TLDR:
With a focus on engaging our community and getting back to the creative principles upon which Krause House was built, I would like to lead a merchandising initiative that not only sees reruns of past KH staples, but also features exclusive drops of premium collectibles. Product ideas include letterman jackets, caricature tees, vintage snapbacks, and performance gear among others. The strategy would revolve around pre-orders to maximize margins and ensure profitability, and rest assured that any initiative would certainly need its own additional proposal in order to proceed (similar to the recently approved proposal to order more of the famous KH basketball shorts).
I think Krause House-branded merch presents enormous opportunities. Having been on the ground in all of the BIG3 cities and having seen how the Ball Hogs players and fans obsessed over the merch that Uncle Jon and the team created was one of the coolest experiences ever. Players from other teams would literally come up to us at the hotels and in the arenas telling us that the Ball Hogs and Krause House had BY FAR the best merch of any team in the BIG3, and that they wanted us to create their team’s merch, as well. There is serious opportunity here that, if properly explored, could potentially expand beyond making merch just for our immediate community. Think “In The Lab” style opportunities.
Bayesian Baller’s Background & Professional Qualifications
Bayesian has been a core contributor to Krause House since Day 1. Over the past 2+ years, he’s contributed to the community on a variety of fronts -- notably in media, podcasting, and coaching analytics roles.
Bayesian leads all of Krause House’s basketball analytics and data science initiatives, which have included deep collaborations with the Ball Hogs, BIG3, and Overtime Elite. Most notably, over the past two summers Bayesian has become Rick Barry’s right hand man while spearheading all of the scouting, analytics, and assistant coaching responsibilities for the Ball Hogs. He’s also the Host & Executive Producer of Around The Association, Krause House’s go-to podcast for all things basketball, which now has a show catalog fast approaching 35 episodes.
Outside of KH, Bayesian has worked professionally in the sports industry for 5+ years, and currently serves as the Director of Product for a leader in the college sports and basketball analytics space. Prior to that, he spent several years at the collegiate level with two major Div. 1 college basketball programs. Krause Picks launched just under 2 weeks ago and has thus far seen massive traffic and engagement across other communities. This proposal allows the DAO to continue building on Krause Picks’ early success with further development.

In under 2 weeks, Krause Picks has seen 1,200 site visitors, 200 signups, over 5,000 picks made, and an average of 75 DAUs. This was done with minimal marketing, user retargeting, or automated outreach (all features that could be implemented with this proposal). The majority of these users are not crypto natives and represent an audience of basketball fans that Krause House has long struggled to reach.
The app's current state was built by Greg (@gregfromstl) as a side project to build on past experiments with Pick ‘Em games within Krause House. The project has now reached a point where it can continue to exist as a small win for the DAO or act as a catalyst for stronger engagement, partnerships, and example-setting for Krause House’s potential.

The following is an overview of how Be Water operates for all projects, including Krause Picks, should this proposal pass.
The project will be designated a minimum of one developer, one designer, and a project lead. The project lead will be Greg for this project. Bandwidth is managed closely and projects are limited for each team member, so everyone has time and capacity to give the project the attention it needs.

After the success of the FIBA Pick Em which saw 150+ users around the world and nearly 4000 picks made, we would like to increase the stakes for users by providing $10 daily winnings to the top Pick Em Player of the Day!
We noticed most Pick Ems do pay outs at the end of the season and as a result, users lose engagement. However, if we provide prizes daily, we can build increased daily engagement throughout the 173 days of the NBA season!
In addition to the $10 per day, we are in discussions with our NBA fan communities to have prizes such as NBA Top Shot moments, NBA tickets and merch for users. These prizes will be announced as the season progresses.

Context
The Krause House community approved a $25,000 legal counsel retainer on March 27, 2023. Since that time conversations with ownership groups have expanded beyond the NBA, to groups that are excited to bring the Krause House playbook into their sport.

This proposal requests to amend the original proposal as follows:
Rationale
While Krause House began with a focus on the NBA, it is apparent that our value proposition extends across sport. Securing an LOI with any team in an elite league will be a material contribution to our mission.
